Winter Afterschool Sports & Games

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, December 2nd - February 29th, 3:30pm - 5:00pm. 

Keep active outdoors and play soccer, flag-football, hockey, and more, organized by our staff or play on your own.

Equipment provided. For ages 7 and older.

Cardio Swim Workout

Learn low impact workouts useful for a lifetime. Swimming results in lean muscle mass and increased cardio-respiratory fitness, all without causing stress to your joints. Cardio Swim Workouts will incorporate sprint, distance and interval training to increase speed, endurance and overall fitness. This small group program is for experienced swimmers ages 14 and up. Participants must be able to swim 40 laps.

Meets Wednesdays. Kick boards and fins provided. All swimmers will need to bring a towel, a swim cap, goggles and a lock.

Free for members. Pool day passes are available: $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and youths.

Total Body Boxing Workout

Develop self-defense skills and overall fitness.  The biomechanics of the sport require developing power from the legs up, resulting in a total-body workout.

Instructor: Paul Diaz-Larui

Fee: Free for members, Gym Day Passes: $15 for adults , $10 for students, youth and seniors

Ultimate Frisbee

Ultimate Frisbee in the Battery Park City Ball Fields is the perfect weekend game.  Ultimate Frisbee welcomes all skill levels and offers fitness, and enjoyment.  Join this fun filled, co-ed pick-up game and bring your friends or make new ones.  Frisbees are provided!
